Please be aware that our doctors do not prescribe drugs of addiction such as narcotics (Opiates) or sleeping pills (Benzodiazepines).

New Patients
​Nicholson Road Medical Group welcomes new patients.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your first appointment to complete the registration form.
For the first time registration, please bring
  • Valid Medicare Card
  • Health Care Card, DVA Card or Concession Card if you have one
  • Photo ID
Complaints
Your feedback is appreciated for the continued improvement of our practice.  You are welcome to provide any feedback by completing the Feedback Form available at the reception desk.
If you wish to make a complaint about any aspect of our services, please speak to your doctor directly first. If this fails to resolve the issue, you can contact our practice manager directly via email. 
Recall and Reminder Service
Nicholson Road Medical Group provides a service where you may receive a SMS, phone call or letter reminding you of
  • Recent test results
  • Routine preventative health checkups (eg. 45 years old health assessment)
  • Medical reviews (eg. Diabetes review)  
  • Screening (eg. Cervical Cancer Screening, Mammogram)
  • Immunisation (eg. Routine Childhood Immunisations) 
Request for Scripts, Medical Certificates and Referrals
Please make an appointment for repeat scripts, medical certificates or referrals. The medical certificates cannot be backdated or provided for over the telephone.
Privacy
Nicholson Road Medical Group is committed to protecting our patients’ privacy according to the Privacy Act.  The practice uses a computerised, paperless system.  Access to computer records containing your medical information is restricted to medical staff. All hard copies of patient documents disposed of in a secure manner, after scanned and stored in the patient medical record database.
